MY RAINBOW

(Specially dedicated to K A)

O my rainbow,
You add colour to my life,
With rays of sunlight,
Taking away dullness,
Over heavily cast clouds,
With various strands,
Of colourful growth,
Spanning from the horizon,
To the highest cliff.

Down below the cliff,
Elusive butterflies of myriad colours,
With their spread wing,
Flipping in graceful motion,
Going through the gust of wind,
With raindrops,
Pelting against the wings.
