LIFE IS NO GAMBLE

When you got into squabble,
Please don't fumble.
What more to grumble.
After all, life's no gamble.

It's a bitter-sweet struggle.
Just like getting lost in deep jungle.
Stood firm on your struggle.
Please, don't get entangled.

Look up for your life
With a new angle.
There's still hopes for your struggles.

Herewith I post an unedited comment from YB Datuk Haji Talib Zulpilip, who a member of Sarawak Legislative Assembly (DUN) and also Chairman of Sarawak Economic Development Corporation. The comment I received via SMS this morning (January 27,2009):

Sdr Resat,
Your poems @ philosophy & inspiration combined. You are a philosopher poet. My humble effort below:
"This is normal
For many people
When they fumble
Make a wrong move and
stumble.

In a life-time fumbles
will there be
The roll of the dice
might be even
But some have only a
few fumbles
if they are lucky.
A slew for others...who
have their fumbles a
shade to often.

Fumbles spell troubles
generally
Not many bring
opportunity.
How does a person stop
a fumble?
Before it turns into a BIG
trouble

Extricate oneself one
must
Complicate a situation
one must not.
But one does not know
if any move is useful or
will last
Getting entangled or
cutting the gordian knot

Who will triumph in life?
They are those who
keep their hopes and
soul alive.
To rise above the strife
They take calculated
risks and strive
and strive.
